Getting Started with Budgets in Spend Center

If you are a budget owner in Spend Center, this article describes common features and functionality of using budgets. If you're ready to create your first Budget in Spend Center check out our "How do I create a budget in Spend Center?" article to learn more.


View & Manage Budgets

Budgets contain all transactions that were made by users assigned to that budget. It also includes any reimbursements where that budget was selected. While overall budget settings are managed by administrators, you can still manage certain aspects for how spending occurs within your budget.

To view all budgets in your account, click the Budgets link in the Spend Center Navigation Menu. The default budget displays the Default label. This budget includes all physical cards in your account.

To find all budgets where you are assigned as owner, click the Owner budgets link.

To open a specific budget, click the name of the budget.

When viewing a budget on a web browser, the budget opens to the Budget page. From this page, you can view budget members, transactions, and reimbursements associated with that budget.

To find your budgets in the Spend Center mobile app, tap the Budgets icon in the Navigation bar. Then tap the name of the budget you want to view.

Note: If the Budgets icon does not display in the Navigation bar, you may need to tap the More icon first.

Viewing a budget from the Spend Center mobile app displays a similar Budget page. This displays budget members, transactions, and reimbursements. To view additional options for the budget, tap the Options (three dots) icon. Swipe the screen left or right to the next or previous budget periods.


Add Budget Members

Your budget may already include budget members and/or additional budget owners. As a budget owner, you can add users to your budgets so they can categorize transactions to your budget and track their spend.

To add users from a web browser, click the Add Members button on the Budget page.

To add users from the Spend Center mobile app, tap the Budget members tab and then tap the Add button.


View Transactions & Reimbursements

Spend Center makes it easy for you to view and manage any transactions or reimbursements associated with your budget. The Budget page on a web browser includes a Transactions and Reimbursements section. You can click a status or the View all link to quickly access transactions or reimbursements.

From the mobile app, you can view transactions by tapping the Transactions tab or reimbursements by tapping the Reimbursements tab.
